Thirty Days of Thanks: Snow Soccer

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

This year I got to start off celebrating the holiday of delicious table scraps doing two of my favorite activities: playing in the snow and playing with my most favorite ball!

Gram and Grandpappy don’t have a fenced in yard, but they do have a big field with soccer goals and a baseball fence across the street from their house, so mama and I brought our long line over and had some cold wet fun before all the Thanksgiving guests started arriving.

So I’m good and exercised now, and happily updating my blog before I settle in for some nappings in my crate while all the goings on are going on.

More to come on how I handled the holiday hustle and bustle, but so far so good!

Faith, Trust, & Foster Pups is a combination blog for animal welfare, humane education/positive training, recognizing the beautiful bond that exists between pets and their people, and other fun stuff. I share information about adoptable pets in the DC metro area, promote animal rescue and resources to support adopters and fosters, and share stories and lessons related to the dogs I care for. Much of my writing is for especially my "foster failure" with some specific fear-based issues. In an effort to help understand often wonderful, sometimes challenging dogs like him better, I learn to understand myself. Together, we share our stories, and walk together, leash in hand, and in building faith and trust within one another and within ourselves.

  2. These photos are adorable! I am glad we aren’t the only ones dealing with snow but it looks like you are having a fun time enjoying it. If you can’t beat it, may as well appreciate it. 🙂
